Join Sonya Marie de Lazzer for a gentle morning Hatha yoga practice; a mindful and meditative approach to opening the day, and the body, with softness. 

All levels welcome.

Participants must bring their own mat, water bottle and props (optional).

Restorative Yoga 

Every Thursday: 6:00 pm 

This is your reset button. We slow down - right down, and savour the pause. A deeply restoring and centring practice. Restorative yoga holds so many benefits including; deep relaxation, stilling a busy and anxious mind, balances the nervous system, restores the body to its parasympathetic nervous system function, boosts the immune system and helps us explore compassion and understanding toward others and ourselves. 

What becomes in the space of conscious rest?

Yin Yang
Every Saturday, 10:00 am 

This Yin Yang yoga practice offers a blend and balance of dynamic movement and stillness to help you flow, release, and ease into your day. We build and activate some warmth and strength through a gentle energizing practice, and then take your practice inward, exploring the cooler, quieter, lunar practice of Yin through longer, more passive holds to help release residual tensions held deep in the connective tissues of the body. This class invites an opportunity to release the stresses of the day, through a soft and steady awareness on the natural rhythm of breath.

Workshops & Series

SUNDAY EVENING RESTORATIVE SESSIONS

Join Maggie Neuroth and myself for these sessions over the course of the summer, on some of the last Sundays of each month.

Expect a gentle grounding, and meditative Hatha practice followed by some deeply restorative poses and a soothing sound bath with Crystal Singing Bowls.  Each session will run approx. 1 hr 20 min. 

 

Rest, Relax, Reset, Renew, Restore.

While we look forward to sweet solar energy this summer, be sure to make time for conscious and intentional rest - because sometimes, the most productive thing we can do is rest. 

 

Time: 7:30 pm

Cost: $20 per class.

Registration is not required. Just show up! 

 

What do I need? Please bring a yoga mat, water, blanket(s), yoga strap, and/or any props that support your own practice. 

If you have your own bolster, please bring that too! 

(We will have some bolsters available to borrow, but numbers are limited.)
